Plastic Barricades – ‘Tunnel’
London based band Plastic Barricades has released their superb latest single, ‘Tunnel’. It is an exciting indie-rock song that needs to be heard!
Firstly, a full band sound greets the listener. Secondly, driving and layered guitars set the scene for the enigmatic vocals to enter. We adore the vibe and melodies which fill the sonic spectrum. In addition, the chorus is exciting, and we enjoy it each time it comes back around. Lyrically, ‘Tunnel’ is relatable and will be a hit with fans.
Plastic Barricades say, “Sometimes it feels like life is this winding road with plenty of tunnels. You go in, it is dark and uneasy, and pretty soon you start wondering how long is this tunnel. Visibility is reduced, you cannot really increase your speed or turn back.” He continues, “It starts to feel claustrophobic. Your thoughts are amplified, reverberating in your head. All you can do is keep reminding yourself that no tunnel lasts forever and you will make it out of this one, like all the previous ones you’ve been to, and you will see sunlight again!”
‘Tunnel’ was written and recorded in a backyard Shed Studio in North-West London. It has been superbly mixed by Paul Love and mastered by Andy Baldwin at Metropolis Studios. In addition, the video for the single was created by PB art-director Elina Pasok and Dan Kert. Finally, the single artwork was created by Elina Pasok. Together, the team have done an excellent job in creating a piece of art that will stand the test of time.
Moreover, Plastic Barricades ‘Self-Theories’ LP is due in autumn 2020, and we can not wait. In conclusion, make sure you check out this exciting release this week!
