Glaser Brothers – ‘Take Control’

Coming out of Brooklyn, NY, the Glaser Brothers are an indie-rock duo whose latest single ‘Take Control’, is quite simply a spellbinding release.

A hard-hitting opening greets the listener. We adore the driving guitars and drums which create the stoic foundation from which the rest of the single grows from.

We adore the vocals, they are enigmatic and filled with character. As the chorus drops, the single is in full flow and has the audience fully captivated. In addition, the synths are wonderful and add their unique colour to the piece.

There is a wonderful tempo break in the middle eight. It takes the single in a new direction before the familiar and welcomed chorus reappears. ‘Take Control’ features an intelligent arrangement which will have the audience reaching for the repeat button.

Glaser Brothers have collaborated with grammy-nominated producer, Jake Lummus on the release. Also, five-time Grammy Award-Winner, Fred Kevorkian has mastered it. Together, the team have done an excellent job in creating a single that will stand the test of time.

Brothers

Glaser Brothers (AKA Justin and Jordan Glaser) are former members of the band Home State. They have played at many of New York’s most revered venues, including The Surf Lodge, Mercury Lounge, and The Iridium.

The brothers are both excellent musicians, and this first solo release is an exciting glimpse as to what is to come from these two supremely talented artists.

So make sure you add ‘Take Control’ to your playlist this week. Make a note of the Glaser Brothers, it may be the first time you hear about the duo, but we are sure that it will not be the last. Check out ‘Take Control’ from the link below.
