Addie Hamilton – ‘Tangerine’
Los Angeles-based artist Addie Hamilton, has released her superb single ‘Tangerine’. It is an indie-pop release that you need to hear this January 2021!
An atmospheric electric guitar opens the release. It features unexpected chordal progressions which instantly entice the listener. Addie Hamilton’s soulful vocals enter and enchant the single further. She masterfully guides the song along with grace and passion.

Hamilton says about the release, “I wanted abstract lyrics so that the listener could connect their own meaning to them. For me, ‘Tangerine’ is a reminder to focus on the beauty in life.” She continues, “To believe that miracles can happen. To keep faith when the world around you says otherwise. As if you are living in a black and white film and you are the only one who sees the red, blue, tangerine.”
Collaboration
Hamilton wrote this excellent release with writers/producers Todd Wright and Ethan Mentzer. They also play guitar and bass on the record. Grammy-nominated keyboardist Larry Goldings provides the keys and Anna Barreiro the percussion. Finally, ‘Tangerine’ was mastered by Drew Mazurek. Together the team have crafted a song that will stand the test of time.

Addie Hamilton is a formidable artist who is set to make huge waves with this release. We very much look forward to hearing what she will do next; the 2020s are going to be a significant decade for her.
