Alice Offley – ‘Pour’

London-based artist Alice Offley has released the stunning single ‘Pour’ in February 2022. It is an electronic-pop release with a lot of heart!

‘Pour’ is enticing from the get-go. A great disco feel breaks through with a driving bass and compelling beat. Offley’s voice is filled with character and charm; she instantly takes the reins of the single.

The chorus is catchy and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. The layered instrumentation is punchy and fills the sonic spectrum with vivid colour.

In addition, Offley is a superb bass player. Her melodic bass line adds a fresh dimension to the track. Having previously worked with Thompson Twins, Tricky, and Cyndi Lauper, Offley knows how to funk a single up!

Offley cites her influences as coming from artists such as Prince, Kylie, Chic, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Billy Ocean, and Moloko. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Pour’, but make no mistake, Alice Offley is making music all of her own!

Offley says about the release, “‘Pour’ is about lots of feel-good things in life – from new love to sugar, angel delight, dancing, drinking, and fun!”

She continues, “I front this solo project with a cocktail of funk-filled Disco-pop…the kind of music that I want to listen to. After the lockdowns, I wanted to make music to help people feel good!” Objective achieved!

Kevan Frost

‘Pour’ has been superbly mixed by producer Kevan Frost (Boy George). Together Offley and Frost have produced a single that will stand the test of time and puts Alice Offley as an artist to watch in 2022.
