Areen – ‘Mango’
Hailing from Washington, electronic pop artist Areen has released the excellent single ‘Mango’, in September 2020.
An engaging opening greets the listener. As the beat drops, ‘Mango’ is in full flow. The vocals are warm and intoxicating. We found the layered vocals add wonderful texture to the piece, creating further interest and intrigue.
The chorus is instantly likeable and memorable. ‘Mango’ is catchy and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. Lyrically, the single is relatable, and this is a big part of this superb artists’ charm. Areen’s vocal phrasing is skillful, complicated yet feels effortless. Areen is a songwriter/producer who specializes in audio programming. He began DJ-ing at some of Washington D.C’s famous night clubs, and his career has grown from there. Mixing different genres of music with quality, relatable lyrics, he is producing innovative and long-lasting music.
