Burs – ‘Holding Patterns’

Hailing from Toronto, Burs have released the stunning album ‘Holding Patterns’. It is an indie-folk release that needs to be heard this Autumn.

‘The Year Now’ gently swims into the sonic spectrum and evolves before the listener. ‘Lily’ is a stand-out song with soulful vocal performances, textured instrumentation and catchy melodies.

Moreover, ‘Nearly’ is a compelling song with layered vocals, wonderful acoustic guitars and intelligent chordal progressions. Also, ‘Hunger’ is an addictive track with a welcoming vibe and thought-provoking lyrics.

‘Hard Love’ is a track that builds before the listener with relatable lyrics and unpredictable chordal progressions, keeping the audience on their toes. Finally, ‘I Have a Light’ closes the release, and it will have you reaching for the repeat button.

They continue, “In discovering a unified voice, we strive to deliver a soundtrack for broad strokes of reflection, further aiming to gratify through cathartic performance.”
