Meadow Argus – ‘Dancing Through A Slow Apocalypse’
Hailing from Australia, musician Meadow Argus has released the must-hear EP ‘Dancing Through A Slow Apocalypse’. It is a seven-track release that you need to know about this January 2023.
‘Is That You?’ opens the release and sets the scene beautifully as to what is to come. We adore the driving instrumentation, intelligent arrangement and warm production.
In addition, ‘Sweetgrass’ is a standout song with a melodic bass, stoic rhythm section and soulful vocal performances. Also, ‘House Husband’ is fuelled by intriguing lyrics, textured instrumentation and gorgeous guitars.
Moreover, ‘Sleep’ features wonderful guitar playing and excellent story-telling, and it is a track that takes the EP in a fresh direction. Finally, ‘Dance With Me’ closes the release and will have you reaching for the repeat button.
