DAS ELITE – ‘Landslide’

Hailing from Gävle, DAS ELITE has released the excellent EP ‘Landslide’. It is a dream-pop release that will have you reaching for the repeat button this winter.

The title track, ‘Landslide’, opens the release and instantly draws the audience in. We adore the soulful vocals, evolving instrumentation and cleverly constructed chordal progressions. Moreover, the melodies are addictive and will have you reaching for the repeat button.

‘Align’ takes the EP in a fresh direction with a stoic beat, atmospheric synths and emotional vocal performances. It is a track that keeps the listener on their toes with unexpected twists and turns.

The final four tracks are remixes of ‘Landslide’ by MOIST, RED CELL, WOLVERINE and JEC. Each offers a fresh perspective of a brilliant track.

In addition, we adore the mix, production and master of ‘Landslide’. Every part of the intelligently constructed arrangement has its space in the mix and shines bright.

DAS ELITE says about his music, “The landscape is influenced by life, Scandinavia, vagabondism and a feeling of not really belonging anywhere but everywhere.” So deeply relatable, DAS ELITE, through his music, allows us to feel less alone together.

Previously, DAS ELITE has worked with artists such as Julian Lennon, Di Leva, Miss Li, Dada Ante Portas, Saybia, Ola Salo, Anna Ternheim, and Marty Willson-Piper. However, DAS ELITE is a phenomenal talent in his own right, and we are excited to hear what he will do next.

Andreas Ahlenius

DAS ELITE (Andreas Ahlenius) is a wonderful Swedish producer and mixer. We are thrilled to have heard ‘Landslide’ and can not wait to hear what he has planned for 2023. He is a creative and innovative artist who is pushing boundaries with ‘Landslide’. It truly is an EP that needs to be heard to be fully appreciated.

So add ‘Landslide’ to your new music playlist this week. You will not be disappointed!
