Davidly – ‘Vines’

Portland-based artist Davidly has released the excellent electronic-pop single ‘Vines’, in March 2021. It is a single with a big heart that needs to be heard!

A warm and atmospheric opening greets the listener before Davidly’s stoic vocals breakthrough. The instrumentation evolves with the listener and builds in layers of luscious texture and vivid colour.

We adore the addictive beat and textured guitars, which fill the sonic spectrum. In addition, the brilliant melodies stay with the listener long after the music has ended. ‘Vines’ is a wonderful introduction to this formidable artist who has a bright career ahead of him.

Davidly says, “’Vines’ is an auditory journey on how it feels to battle our demons and come out on top. Life is full of ups and downs, and I wanted to capture the grit and authenticity of this in the song.”

He continues, “I remember relating a lot to this when I watched Western classics when I was a kid. The Wild West spoke to me, and I wanted that feel in this song to help tell the next chapter of Davidly.”

Recording

‘Vines’ was developed in Davidly’s studio apartment in downtown Portland Oregon. We adore the mix, master and production of ‘Vines’. Every part of the layered instrumentation has its own space in the mix and shines bright.

Davidly is an artist who is innovating the indie-pop genre. He is an artist who is pushing forward and making waves in 2021. ‘Vines’ has a refreshing sound that needs to be heard to be fully appreciated!

So make sure you check out ‘Vines’ this weekend; you will not be disappointed!
