Duke & The Dry Cleaners – ‘Revolving Door’

London-based band Duke & The Dry Cleaners have released their magnificent single, ‘Revolving Door’. It is an indie-pop release with a big heart.

An addictive beat opens the release. Luscious synths accompany it, and as the welcoming vocals enter, the single is in full flow. We love the intoxicating nature of the track, which instantly compels the audience.

The funky vibe of the chorus is catchy and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. The layered backing vocals add extra texture to the piece too.

‘Revolving Door’ is a song which needs to be heard to be fully appreciated. We are sure that it will please existing Duke & The Dry Cleaners fans while simultaneously winning them an army of new fans too.

Comments

Oli Duke says about the release, “I wrote this song during a period when my mental health was suffering, almost at its worst. The song breathed life back into me, reminded me why I love music so much and gave me hope.”

He continues, “It was a project to give me purpose, and that was to share a feeling of camaraderie and love with anyone who gets to a place from which it seems impossible to escape. To just keep going. On and on. It will get better, and when it does, there is dancing to be done.” Amen!

Duke & The Dry Cleaners only burst onto the music scene in April 2020. They are a band to watch. The group are making exciting and innovative music, and we can not wait to hear what will come next in 2021.

So make sure you add ‘Revolving Door’ to your weekday playlist. You will not be disappointed!
