We are so excited to have discovered Rotterdam-based artist Fleur Lion. She has released her debut single ‘I Already Am’, on 14th March 2022, and it is an indie-pop classic in the making!
Gorgeous synths open the release. We love the delicate piano, which lays solid foundations for Fleur Lion’s vocals to shine. Her voice is filled with colour and a rich soul and effortlessly captivates the audience.
Lyrically ‘I Already Am’ feels like a deeply personal song that is relatable. Fleur Lion has the ability to reach out and touch the listener, conveying emotion with ease.
The layered instrumentation pull in and out of the release creating texture and colour within the piece. In addition, we love the mix, production and master of ‘I Already Am’. Every part of the instrumentation’s tapestry has a place in the mix, and a harmonious balance has been achieved.
