Fool Saint – ‘In a Field, Away from the City’
Jersey City-based band Fool Saint have released their sensational EP ‘In a Field, Away from the City’, in March 2022. It is an alternative-rock release that you need to hear this Spring.
‘When I Call You’ opens the EP to a gorgeously picked electric guitar before the characterful vocals enter. We adore the relatable lyrics which strike a chord with the listener. In addition, the chorus is memorable, and it will have you reaching for the repeat button.
‘Until It’s Wild’ has an addictive groove from the beginning. Guitars mixed to either side of the sonic spectrum create a beautiful sonic experience with the addition of gorgeous melodies too.
‘Confession’ closes the EP to an upbeat song, complete with a heartfelt vocal performance and stunning backing instrumentation. ‘In a Field, Away from the City’ is an EP that left us wanting more!
Comments
The band comments, “The themes of our single, ‘Some Kind of Crazy’, are social introspection, collective action, and are directly inspired by Standing Rock- the Dakota Access Pipeline protests.”
Band Members
Fool Saint comprises of band members Sara Bruno, Christian Berrigan, Austin Lipinski, Michael Doyle and Kyle Meehan. They are clearly excellent musicians in their own right, but magic happens when they come together.

‘In a Field, Away from the City’ was recorded at Nada Recording Studios with John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Polar Bear Club, Brand New). Together, the team has done a fantastic job creating an EP that sets this magnificent band as one to watch in 2022.
2021 saw the band released three singles, and after hearing this brilliant EP, we can not wait to check out their back catalogue.
So make sure you add the ‘In a Field, Away from the City’ EP to your new music playlist this week. It is a release you do not want to miss.
