Kritters – ‘Maybe You’re Right’
Hailing from New York City, the superb duo Kritters have released the excellent single ‘Maybe You’re Right’, in February 2021. It is an indie-pop classic in the making.
Gorgeous keys open the release and are soon joined by the main vocal which takes the reins of the single. There is a wonderful and enticing vibe to ‘Maybe You’re Right’ which is filled with interest and intrigue from the get-go.
The staccato percussion adds texture into ‘Maybe You’re Right’ and we found the chorus to be thoroughly addictive. We adore the song’s intriguing arrangement; it keeps the listener on their toes, not knowing which way the song will go next.
In addition, the mix, master and production of ‘Maybe You’re Right’ is excellent. Every part of the charming instrumentation has its own space in the mix and shines bright.
Kritters say about the release, “The track ‘Maybe You’re Right’ is a smouldering, churning, escalating ode to running away from your problems.” We could not agree more; it’s a thoroughly compelling listen!
Kritters are comprised of band members Kirini O.K. and Rob Steadman. They are both excellent musicians, and magic happens when they come together.

We are so excited to see that ‘Maybe You’re Right’ is accompanied by a self-produced music video. The single is also taken from the band’s highly anticipated upcoming EP ‘It’s a Trap’. After hearing ‘Maybe You’re Right’, we can not wait for the full EP to drop!
We can not recommend ‘Maybe You’re Right’ highly enough. Kritters are a new band with a bright future ahead of them, and we very much look forward to hearing what they will do next.
