Larabelle – ‘Monster’

Larabelle is an artist hailing from Gweedore in Ireland. Her latest single ‘Monster’, is an acoustic folk-pop single that is helping Larabelle to make waves this summer.

A gorgeously picked acoustic guitar opens the release. Larabelle’s stunning vocals enter, and the laid back instrumentation lets the song shine. In addition, we loved the layered vocals which add unique texture within the piece. Subtle percussion enters, accompanied by beautiful strings, and the piece is in full flow.

Larabelle’s voice is filled with a rich warmth and luscious tone. Furthermore, there are character and soul within the performance that is charming and enticing. Also, the lyrics are relatable, and this is a big part of Larabelle’s charm and what will resonate with her listeners.

Larabelle says about the release, “‘Monster’ is written from the perspective of an addict describing the battle that comes with it. In the song, the ‘monster’ can represent any kind of mental health issues people struggle with. Although there is a deep meaning behind the song, it’s contrasted with an angelic melody and dreamy harmonies. There is a feeling of defeat and also relief.”

Larabelle is an 18-year-old emerging songwriter who is destined for big things. She has been playing gigs around the circuit of the county for over two years and is ready to take on the wider world with this superb single. Make sure you make a note of the name Larabelle, we are sure you will hear it a lot more in the future.

In conclusion, this exciting artist is just starting a long career in music, and we very much look forward to hearing what she will do next. Until then, check out ‘Monster’ from the link below.
