Porno Cachet – ‘Sophie Marceau’
Porno Cachet is a London-based band whose latest single ‘Sophie Marceau’ is a brilliant electronic-pop release. It is destined to be a hit this autumn 2020.
An attention-grabbing, staccato opening greets the listener. A luscious groove soon drops, and the single is in full flow. We love the dancing high hats and melodic bass that inject energy into the track.
The vocals are heavily affected which adds extra charm to the piece. We adore the upbeat nature of the song. It is a joyous pick me up that we all need to hear at the moment. We found the chorus to be engaging, and it will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. Porno Cachet know how to write a banger!
Porno Cachet says about the release, “This song is about a young teenager that falls in love with her favourite actress Sophie Marceau.” They continue, “With this song (we) will make you remember the beauty of the 80’s movie actresses as if you were lying on a tropical beach.”
Porno Cachet has recorded ‘Sophie Marceau’ in their own home studio. They have done an excellent job in creating a catchy single, that is well balanced and filled with luscious tone. We are sure that ‘Sophie Marceau’ will stand the test of time.

The band are comprised of two music producers. They cite their influences as coming from artists such as Daft Punk, Cassius, Justice, Digitalism, Ratatat, and Kavinsky. They are innovating synth-pop music for 2020, and ‘Sophie Marceau’ is a single which will put the duo on the map.
We are so thrilled to have discovered ‘Sophie Marceau’ and very much look forward to hearing what the duo will release next. One thing is for sure; Porno Cachet is a band with a bright future.
