Rosellas – ‘Damaged’

Manchester-based band Rosellas have released the alternative-rock single ‘Damaged’. It is a wonderful release which puts the group as a band to watch this January 2021.

Gorgeous driving electric guitars open the release and pave the way for the character vocals to enter. The instrumentation grows as the song progresses and fully captivates the audience.

We adore the melodic chorus, which is catchy and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. ‘Damaged’ has been intelligently arranged with the luscious instrumentation weaving in and out of the production.

We have added ‘Damaged’ to our FV Music Blog Spotify Playlist, listen here!

Rosellas say, “We feel we’ve found an individual sound in our music through the use of heavy piano coupled with our songwriting and melodic choices.” They continue, “We want people to see that we aren’t trying to be like that’s other successful band that’s come before us – nor are we trying in any way to conform to what’s cool and en-vogue.” This ethos is what makes Rosellas stand out from the crowd.

50,000 streams

Previously, the band have released three EPs which have impressively amassed over 50,000 streams. They are a DIY band who are making waves without a massive label or a manager behind them. We take our hat off to this hardworking band – they have new fans in us!

We are so excited to have discovered Rosellas; they are a band who are just getting started. If you have not heard of the group before, make a note of the name, we are sure you will hear much more of it in the future.

Until then, ‘Damaged’ is available from the link below. Check it out; you will not be disappointed!
