Ryan Edmond – ‘Sky Song’
Hailing originally from Rockingham, Australia, Ryan Edmond is a brilliant musician whose latest single ‘Sky Song’ is a folk-pop classic in the making.
A gorgeous acoustic opening greets the listener. We hear a wonderfully played acoustic guitar, percussion and a solo horn. They instantly entice the audience in.
Ryan Edmond’s soulful vocals are smooth and charm the listener. His voice is filled with a likeable, warming tone. The main melody is memorable and will have the audience reaching for the repeat button.
We loved the chorus, which takes the song into a new direction and keeps the piece feeling fresh and exciting. The arrangement of ‘Sky Song’ is stunning, and Ryan Edmond proves himself to be one of the finest troubadours of his generation with this release.
Edmond says about the single, “‘Sky Song’ is a tune I wrote recently during these crazy corona times. I’m currently working on completing my debut album, and this song came along after a long conversation with my Grandma over in Australia whilst I’m over the other side of the world in Sweden.”
He continues, “It’s about trying to find the positives during these tough times. Such as connecting on a deeper level with loved ones, realizing what is important to you in life and giving the earth a chance to breathe.” This is what makes Edmond such a special artist. He is deeply relatable, and ‘Sky Song’ is a perfect example of this.
