Sean Pixel – ‘Antiversary’
‘Antiversary’ is the stunning EP by Korean based artist Sean Pixel. It is an alternative-pop release that you need to hear in 2022.
‘After you’ is a standout song. A wonderfully picked guitar opens the track. It is set to an atmospheric backdrop, and as the layered vocals enter, Pixel has the audience captivated.
Pixel comments, “After you’, is a song about the feeling of wanting to become vulnerable after someone who made you cold. The track starts with a lonely guitar solo then slowly builds up to a climax after the line ‘come make me vulnerable’.”
‘Leave A Message’ features gorgeous unexpected chordal progressions and personal, intimate lyrics. There is an honesty and integrity to Pixel’s songwriting that reaches out and touches his audience.
We love the layered vocals, which add vivid colour to the piece. In addition, the warm production lets an already fantastic song shine brighter.
We have been blown away by Pixel’s songwriting and arrangements. He is just 17 years old and has already established himself as a talented artist who is destined for a significant career.
Comments
Sean Pixel says about the title release, “‘Antiversary’ is a short double single about celebrating a sad relationship.” Deeply relatable, pixel knows how to identify and connect with his audience.

Influences
Sean Pixel cites his influences as coming from artists such as Dijon and Dominic Fike. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Antiversary’ but make no mistake; Pixel makes music all of his own.
