The Flashpot Moments – ‘Describing the Ruckus’

The Flashpot Moments is the studio project of Boston-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and occasional drummer, Tim Cawley. His latest album ‘Describing the Ruckus’ is a classic rock album in the making.

‘Madeline’ opens the release to a big rock sound. Cawley’s addictive vocals instantly compel the listener. We adore the melodic bass and sparkling guitars. The track sets the scene beautifully as to what is to come.

We adore ‘Woke Up On A Couch’. It has the same addictive quality as the opening song. ‘The Stadium Version’ is filled with edgy guitars and driving drums. In addition, ‘Headfirst’ has an unusual opening, as the chorus kicks in, the audience is thoroughly engaged.

‘Wrongs Got Right’ has a gentler opening and Cawley’s vocals shine. The band enters and the addictive nature of the track is present. ‘Last Call’ closes the album and leaves the listener wanting more!

In addition, we love the mix, master and production of the album. Every part of the layered instrumentation has its own space in the mix, and ‘Describing the Ruckus’ a cohesive piece of art.

Collaborations

Working on the record, Cawley has teamed up with musicians and engineers who’ve worked with the likes of Pearl Jam, REM, Hockey Dad, Menzingers, Say Anything, Aimee Mann, Iggy Pop, Format, Panic at the Disco, Dandy Warhols, Modest Mouse, Brandi Carlisle, and many more! Together, they have created a body of work that will stand the test of time.

Cawley is mainly a superb studio artist. His first two albums have seen his music featured in 100-plus network and cable TV shows including ABC, CBS, E!, MTV, Bravo, TLC to name but a few.

We are so excited to have discovered The Flashpot Moments. He is an artist who knows how to write songs which are anthems and ‘Describing the Ruckus’ is an album that needs to be heard. We thoroughly recommend checking out The Flashpot Moments today!
