Touch the Clouds – ‘Feeling Light’
Hailing from Detroit, Touch the Clouds has released the excellent single ‘Feeling Light’ in June 2022. It is an alternative-rock single that needs to be heard!
‘Feeling Light’ is punchy and engaging from the beginning. We adore the layered and charismatic vocal performances that fill the sonic spectrum with vivid colour.
In addition, the huge wall of guitars set the song alight and hit the listener straight in the face. Also, the stoic rhythm section feels like the heartbeat of the track too.
We adore the lyrics, which are relatable and speak directly to the audience. In addition, the production is superb. It is warm and compelling with colourful undertones. So, turn the volume up, ‘Feeling Light’ needs to be heard loud!
Comments
Touch the Clouds say about this stunning release, “Lyrically, the song is about finding your centre in today’s frenetic world – making the time to sit still in the sun, take a deep breath, and let it all go – feeling both photons and relief.” They continue, “Sonically the music draws from the heavy yet melodic vibes of 90’s Alternative Rock.”

Album
We are so excited to see that ‘Feeling Light’ is the first single to be taken from the band’s upcoming 15-track album. It has been produced by Joe Philips, Erik Maluchnik, and Adam Cox and mastered at Third Man Mastering by His Name is Alive paragon, Warren Defever. After hearing ‘Feeling Light’, we can not wait for the full release to drop!

So makes sure you add ‘Feeling Light’ to your new music playlist this weekend. We can not wait to hear what Touch the Clouds will do next.
