Tradition Man Wolo – ‘Reggae Man’

‘Reggae Man’ is the excellent latest album from Renton-based artist, Tradition Man Wolo. It is a reggae release that remakes the songs of British-Irish singer-songwriter Chris de Burgh.

‘Come Home’ opens the release, and the reggae vibe pulsates through instantly. We adore Tradition Man Wolo’s vocal performance, which is warm and inviting, effortlessly drawing the listener in.

The classic song ‘The Lady in Red’ is unrecognisable from the opening. However, as the vocals enter, the familiar song returns with Tradition Man Wolo’s unique character, twists and turns.

‘This Feeling’ is a stand out track. It features an upbeat vibe with an addictive bass-line. We love the infectious melodic tones that fill the sonic spectrum with vivid colour and unforgettable hooks.

‘Reggae Man’ has been produced and mixed by Bobby Roy at Roy’s studio in Sweeden. In addition, the album was mastered by Mike Caplan in Washinton, DC. Together the team have crafted an album that is unique and compelling.

Tradition Man Wolo is a Ghanaian reggae artist with a lot of heart. We are big fans of ‘Reggae Man’. When we first read about the album, the concept seemed out there, but having listened to it, we absolutely adore Tradition Man Wolo’s interpretations of the songs. He has taken classic tracks and added his own unique twist to them. Fantastic!
