WHAM BAM! – ‘ALLEEN’
Hailing from Frankfurt, Germany, WHAM BAM! have released their superb latest single ‘ALLEEN’ in January 2021. It is an alternative-rock release which is destined to win the band new fans.
Enticing synths open the release. As the full band sound drops, ‘ALLEEN’ is in full flow. The layered and characterful vocals enter and instantly demand the listener’s attention.
We adore the palm-muted guitars, lead guitar, and punchy drums which all fill the sonic spectrum with texture. The chorus melody is infectious and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. There is an addictive vibe to ‘ALLEEN’; WHAM BAM! know how to write a classic single! The band say about the single, “It’s a song about relationships and dealing with loss and life in general, but packaged in an upbeat, catchy melody with some melancholic, emotional undertones.”
Band Members
WHAM BAM! consists of band members Gideon Kretschmer (vocals, instruments, mixing and production) and Nico Tourelle (vocals). Together they are a formidable duo who are making waves with this latest release. It is a thoroughly enjoyable and catchy single that will have you reaching for the repeat button.
This brilliant duo has been making music together since 1996 under various band names. They compliment each other’s sound, releasing anthems such as ‘ALLEEN’. We can not wait to check out their back catalogue too!
