Richmond-based band Ann Beretta have released the magnificent album ‘DCxPC Live Vol. 8 Presents: Ann Beretta Live Like a Riot!’. Recorded at The Broadberry while the band were opening for Face to Face, it is a full live album that needs to be heard!
‘Vengeance’ opens the release to a melodic and captivating song with a memorable chorus and superb instrumentation. We adore the luscious strings that underpin the vocals adding layers of depth to the piece.
In addition, ‘Wild, Young, and Free’ is a stand-out song that evolves before the listener. The excellent songwriting shines through, and the melodies stay with the audience long after the music has ended.
Also, ‘Love’s Easy Tears’ takes the album in a fresh direction. Complete with a punchy opening, fantastic vocal performances and memorable riffs, it is a single that will have you reaching for the repeat button. Finally, ‘Forever Family’ closes the release and brings the live set to a superb ending.

The band say about the release, “This is the first time the album has been released on vinyl. It is a limited short run of only 200.” They continue, “The vinyl is pink, and the covers were individually screen printed by Ann Beretta’s singer/guitarist, Rob Huddleston, so no two covers are identical.”

In addition, Rob Huddleston has provided the Label design, Cover design and screen printing. Together, the team have created a stunning live album that needs to be heard this Autumn.
