Aimée – ‘Hurt Like Hell’

Ireland-based artist Aimée has released the stunning single ‘Hurt Like Hell’. It is a pop release that strikes the hearts of its listeners.

An inviting opening greets the listener before Aimée’s wonderful vocals take the reins of the song. We adore her soulful vocal performance that effortlessly conveys emotion to the listener.

In addition, the big, catchy chorus is memorable and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. Finally, the relatable lyrics resonate with the audience and allow us to feel less alone together.

Moreover, the warm, punchy production adds further layers of texture to the piece. One thing is certain: ‘Hurt Like Hell’ needs to be added to your new music playlist this week!

Aimée says about the release, “I wanted to write a song for people going through heartbreak and hope it might give them a little spark of confidence when they hear it.” She continues, “I also wanted a song that tempts every person to grab and sing into their hairbrush, throw their middle finger in the air and scream, IT’S GONNA HURT LIKE HELL!”.

In addition, ‘Hurt Like Hell’ has been co-written and recorded by Nick Jarl (Westlife, Loreen), Richey McCourt (Will Young, TINI) and Swedish icon Joakim Berg (Zara Larsson, Avicii). Together the team have crafted a single that sets Aimée as an artist on the rise in 2023.
