Apex4X says about the release, “‘The Fire Within’ is something different. The lyrics for all the original songs were written within a two week period after returning from a trip abroad. There was a lot of emotional pain involved, and the true stories behind each song will never be revealed.”

Apex4X cites their influences as coming from Collide, Sneaker Pimps, Metallica, The Cure, Ego Likeness, and Chelsea Wolfe. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘The Fire Within’, but make no mistake, Apex4X has developed an individual and innovative sound that is pushing boundaries and making waves.
