Arxion – ‘Essence’

Slovenia-based artist Arxion has released the must-hear album ‘Essence’. It is a brilliant pop release that will have you reaching for the repeat button this February.

‘Candyman’ opens the release, and the upbeat, engaging nature of the track is evident from the get-go. We love the driving rhythm section and charismatic vocal performances.

In addition, ‘Shut Down’ is a standout song with driving synths, relatable lyrics and a catchy chorus that stays with the listener long after the music has ended.

Also, ‘Tell Me Show Me’ features emotional melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The intelligent chordal progressions shine at the forefront of the arrangement.

Finally, ‘Lady Delight’ closes the release and brings the album full circle. ‘Essence’ is an album that needs to be heard!

Moreover, we love the mix, master and production of ‘Essence’. Every part of the layered instrumentation has its own space in the mix and shines bright.

Arxion says about writing music, “I was playing with composing music since my childhood, but I didn’t have the intention to release it officially.” He continues, “However, it wanted to go out, no matter what, and when Roland SCC-1 sound card came out, I had no more excuses.”

‘Essence’ has the rare quality where each individual track works well, but they also come together to form a more extensive body of work. It is an album that benefits from being listened to from beginning to end with no breaks. So turn the lights down and the music up!
