Bloomfield Machine – ‘Suiteness’

Hailing from Huntington Beach, Bloomfield Machine has released the must-hear album ‘Suiteness’. It is an indie-rock release that you do not want to miss this August.

‘Euphoric Recall’ opens the release with engaging melodies and an exciting production. It instantly draws the listener in and effortlessly holds our attention.

In addition, ‘Something Shifted’ is an innovative piece that has been intelligently arranged with textured instrumentation and excellent musicianship.

‘A Series Of Accidents’ is a standout track with an industrial feel that takes the album in a fresh direction. We adore the driving beats and fascinating melodies.

Moreover, ‘Mugged By Reality’ is a song fuelled by brooding melodies and a thoroughly captivating arrangement. Finally, ‘Lethargica’ closes this superb innovative release and beautifully brings the album to a close.

Comments

Bloomfield Machine says about the album’s inspiration, “I just let these come through without any preparation or thought. I think my style boils down to artful noise and texture mixed with memorable melodies. This album seems a bit more hopeful in tone than my last one, perhaps…”

Influences

Bloomfield Machine cites his influences as artists such as The Beatles, Zombies, XTC, Radiohead, Casino vs. Japan, Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine, Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, and Elliott Smith. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Suiteness,’ but make no mistake—Bloomfield Machine is making music all of his own.

Bands

Bloomfield Machine (AKA Brian Kassan) is a talented artist. Previously, he has been in bands (The Wondermints, Chewy Marble, Tikiyaki Orchestra/Tikiyaki 5-0) and started Bloomfield Machine in 2017. We adore his sound; it is innovative, engaging and will have you reach for the repeat button.

Bloomfield Machine has released 7 albums in 7 years, and after hearing ‘Suiteness’, we can not wait to check out his back catalogue, too!
