Broken Castles – ‘Follow’
Hailing from Milton Keynes, the superb band Broken Castles has released the brilliant EP ‘Follow’. It is a grunge release that needs to be on your new music playlist this weekend.
‘Curse On The Soul’ opens the release to a staccato and engaging beginning and evolves into a textured and addictive track that will have you reaching for the repeat button.
Next, ‘Dusk Is Forever Dawn’ is a standout song complete with driving guitars, charismatic vocals and intriguing lyrics. In addition, ‘Meet At The Underpass’ has a compelling rhythm section, intelligently arranged guitars and a memorable chorus.

Finally, ‘Champions’ closes the release to a punchy track with a warm and engaging production. Simply sublime!
Comments
The band say about their sound, “Broken Castles are a 3-piece band of brothers forged in the fires of a golden era, pummelling out distorted groove-laden 90’s-flavoured riffage whipped up into a brutal delivery of fierce vocals, sludgy guitars and pounding drums.”
Production
In addition, we adore the mix, production and master of the EP that adds further layers of interest and texture throughout the mix. The band themselves recorded and produced the EP and created a body of work that will stand the test of time. Broken Castles have a unique sound, and ‘Follow’ sets them as a band who are leading the grunge genre forward in 2022.
Band Members
Broken Castles are comprised of band members Ben Suttey, Graham Hulbert and Dan Gibling. They are clearly excellent musicians, and magic happens when they play together.
Addictive
Broken Castles are a phenomenal trio who play with equal parts passion and excellent musicianship. Their riff-led sound is utterly addictive, and we can not wait to hear more from this formidable band in the future. Until then, ‘Follow’ is available from the link below.
