Carl Liungman – ‘Shine’

Hailing from Huarod, musician Carl Liungman has released the must-hear album ‘Shine’. It is a classical release that touches the hearts of its listeners.

The title track opens the release with a melodic and gorgeously played piano. Space in the playing opens the sonic spectrum up and draws the listener in.

In addition, ‘Essence’ is a stand-out song. Immediately the intelligent chordal progressions demand the listener’s attention. Furthermore, we adore the melancholy feel that takes the audience on a journey.

Moreover, ‘Dream’ leads the album in a fresh direction, it is complete with memorable melodies and an addictive vibe. Also, ‘Salvage’ is a delicate, emotive piece and it is constantly evolving.

Finally, ‘Away’ closes the album and will have you reaching for the repeat button. ‘Shine’ is an album that you need to hear this Winter!

Comments

Carl Liungman says about the release, “‘Shine’ reveals 13 original piano pieces and is an even more intimate and personal solo piano album than the previous ‘Born’ released in 2020.” After hearing ‘Shine’, we can not wait to hear Liungman’s debut release too.

Influences

Carl Liungman cites his influences as coming from artists such as Arvo Pärt, John Legend, Max Richter, Coldplay, Hans Zimmer, and Keith Jarrett. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Shine’, but make no mistake; Carl Liungman is making music all of his own.

Previous Projects

Previously, Liungman has created Chamber, Jazz and Pop music for theatre, short films, art exhibitions and poetry projects. He is a multi-talented artist who is continually pushing forward.

Innovative

We are thrilled to have heard ‘Shine’. Carl Liungman is an exciting and dynamic artist who is making waves this November. His unique and innovative style makes him a musician who stands out from the crowd, and we can not wait to hear what he will do in 2023.

Until then, ‘Shine’ is available to stream from the link below; enjoy today!
