David Moore – ‘Get The Led Out!’

We are thrilled to see Knox City-based musician David Moore has released a brand new album. ‘Get The Led Out!’ is a classic rock release that should be on your new music playlist this June.

‘Paid My Dues’ opens the release with a luscious groove-laid track. Fuelled by driving melodies and textured instrumentation, it beautifully sets the scene for what is to come.

In addition, the title track takes the release in a fresh direction with charismatic opening vocals followed by excellent musicianship, compelling performances and engaging beats.

Other standout tracks include ‘Magic Woman’ with its acoustic opening, followed by a gorgeous full band sound, ‘Dance of the Firefly’ driven by emotional melodies and the closing track, ‘Open Your Heart’, which finishes the album superbly.

Moreover, Moore produced ‘Get The Led Out!’ and has done a superb job creating a layered and enticing sound that is rich in tone and perfectly matches the performances.

Musicians

Moore is joined on the album by a talented group of musicians, including Brian Patterson (bass), Chris McConville (drums), Jim Patterson (guitar), Bill (Beldar) Malloy (guitar), Hollan Holmes (keys), and Wayne Jarvis (drums). Together, they’ve crafted a collection of songs that consistently produce addictive and engaging grooves, drawing the listener in with their unique sound.

Moore says about the release, “My previous releases were more of a folk rock style, and I wanted to go more up-tempo/rock with this release… thus the title ‘Get The Led Out!’, which is also a tribute to the band that was my favourite growing up.”

We can not recommend ‘Get The Led Out!’ highly enough. Moore also has a rich back catalogue, consistently releasing an album a year for the past three years. The previous releases are available on Spotify here. We are excited to hear what Moore will do next!
