‘Hi There’ opens the album with a gorgeous introduction before ‘Come On Down’ kicks in with excellent musicianship and addictive melodies. We adore ‘Ink’, a fun song with funky grooves and punchy lyrics.
In addition, ‘Tip Of My Tongue’ takes the album in a fresh direction yet keeps the magnetic lyrical content and charismatic performances. Moreover, ‘Stop and Enjoy It’ is fuelled by thought-provoking lyrics and warm, inviting production.
‘Patriarchy Vs a Mother’s Love’ is my favourite track on the release. The gorgeous beats provide the perfect backdrop to the attention-demanding lyrics and stunning melodies.
‘English Fables Vol.1’ is the reason we know the full album release will never die. Each of the tracks works well separately but comes together to form a bigger, more cohesive piece of art.
