Joshua Ketchmark – ‘Blood’

Nashville-based artist Joshua Ketchmark has released the magnificent album ‘Blood’. It is an Americana release that reaches out and touches the hearts of its listeners.

‘No Stopping Us’ opens the release to a warm and inviting vibe. We adore the band sound that gently evolves, and Ketchmark is a compelling storyteller who draws the listener in.

‘Follow Me Home’ is a stand-out track with gorgeous slide guitar, stoic rhythm section and charismatic vocals. We adore the relatable lyrics that reach out and touch the listener.

In addition, ‘All I See’ is an affecting and compelling song with gorgeous instrumentation and a big chorus that stays with the listener long after the music has ended. ‘Tazewell Country Line’ closes the release, and it will have the audience reaching for the repeat button.

Interestingly, ‘Blood’ is the tenth studio album by Ketchmark. His previous release, ‘The Huntington Hotel’, was released in 2021. After hearing ‘Blood’, we can not wait to check out Ketchmark’s back catalogue too.

‘Blood’ was recorded in various studios throughout California, Arizona, Georgia, and Tennessee. In addition, it was completed and mixed at Ketchmark’s Black Gold Speakeasy studio in Nashville, TN. Finally, this superb album was mastered by Michael Bozzi at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, CA.
