Mad Painter – ‘Rock And Roll Samurai’

Hailing from Arlington, Mad Painter is a band who have released the stunning single, ‘Rock And Roll Samurai’. It is a brilliant release that needs to be on your new music playlist this week!

An inviting organ opens the release before the beat drops, and further excellent instrumentation drives the song along. Once the charismatic vocals drop, the release is in full flow.

We adore the punchy nature of the single, and the lyrics are thought-provoking and stay with the listener long after the music has ended. In addition, the layered vocals in the chorus add depth and texture to the song.

Moreover, the warm and inviting production fills the sonic spectrum with vivid colour. Also, the chorus is catchy and will have you reaching for the repeat button! ‘Rock And Roll Samurai’ is a single that needs to be heard to be fully appreciated.

Band Members

Mad Painter comprises band members Alex Gitlinr, Al Hendry (Bubba Loaf, Tokyo Tramps), Kenne Highland (ex-Gizmos, Hopelessly Obscure, Johnny & The Jumper Cables, Africa Corps), and Al Naha (Thighscrapers). They are excellent musicians in their respective fields, but the magic happens when they play together.

In addition, we were fortunate enough to catch up with Mad Painter for a full interview, where we discussed their music, views on the music business today and live performances. Read it here.

New Album

We are thrilled that Mad Painter’s full album will be released later this year. Entitled ‘Splashed’, the new album is a 17-track release produced by Tom Hamilton, and photo credits (group shots and album cover art) are by Dmitriy Gushchin.
