Naked Face – ‘Eyes in Love’

Melbourne-based band Naked Face has released the must-hear single ‘Eyes in Love’. It is an electronic-pop release that needs to be on your new music playlist this week.

Engaging vocals open the release and instantly demand the listener’s attention. Then, as the beat kicks in, the audience is fully engaged. We adore the relatable lyrics that reach out and touch the listener, allowing us to feel less alone together.

In addition, the chorus is thoroughly addictive and will have you reaching for the repeat button. The melodies are captivating and stay with the listener long after the music has ended.

Moreover, the middle eight takes the track in a fresh direction before the chorus returns like an old friend coming back around. Finally, ‘Eyes in Love’ is a single that needs to be heard!

Band Members

Naked Face comprises of band members Steve Slik (singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist) and Luke House (Bass guitar). They are clearly excellent musicians in their respective fields, but the magic happens when they play together.

Steve Slik says, “I wrote the song about my struggles with a deteriorating, tumultuous relationship whilst also battling a severe post-surgical opioid addiction.” He continues, “I wrote the song to hopefully help the millions of people suffering similar experiences and that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even though I’m still going through the after-effects to this day.”
