Near Death Experience (NDX) – ‘Trance’

Hailing from London, the brilliant band Near Death Experience (NDX) have released the must-hear single ‘Trance’. It is an art-rock release that will have you reaching for the repeat button this August.

A compelling drum beat opens the release, soon joined by textured instrumentation that effortlessly draws the listener in and holds our attention.

We adore the charismatic vocals, which are fuelled by magnetic melodies and standout instrumental performances. In addition, the intelligent arrangement keeps the piece feeling fresh, taking the listener on unexpected twists and turns.

Moreover, the production is punchy and inviting in equal measure. The exquisite musicianship shines through and thoroughly captivates the audience.

One thing is for sure, ‘Trance’ stays with the listener long after the music has ended.

Comments

Near Death Experience (NDX) says about the release, “It won’t be long before summer’s gone, but ‘Trance’ will ensure the heat is on through autumn, winter and beyond! So get walking!” We couldn’t agree more, and ‘Trance’ needs to be on your new release playlist this weekend!

Influences

Near Death Experience cites their influences as coming from artists such as Bowie, Iggy Pop, Roxy Music and Talking Heads. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Trance’, but make no mistake, Near Death Experience is making music that stands shoulder to shoulder with these artists.

We are thrilled to have heard ‘Trance’ and can not wait to hear what Near Death Experience will do next. They are a world-class group of musicians who are releasing exciting and thoroughly addictive music that needs to be heard.

After hearing ‘Trance’, we can not wait to check out the band’s back catalogue too, and are excited to listen to what will come next.
