Nothing Lost – ‘Nothing Lost’

San Antonio-based band Nothing Lost has released their brilliant self-titled album this Autumn 2022. It is an alternative-rock release that firmly sets the band as one on the rise.

‘Ten Years’ opens the release, and the punchy and highly energetic vibe is evident from the get-go. We adore the addictive nature that rings out and draws the listener in.

‘Not Alone’ is a standout song with a pulsating beat, impressive guitars and a stoic rhythm section. In addition, ‘Save MacCreedy’ features intriguing lyrics, melodic bass and wonderful charismatic vocals.

In addition, ‘Gatekeeper’ is a textured track with layered instrumentation and cleverly composed chordal progressions. Finally, ‘One Too Many’ closes the release and leaves you wanting more!

In addition, the band worked with Chase Jentz, who mixed and mastered the album. They say about working with Jentz, “He did our very first single, ‘Still Singing,’ and knocked it out of the park.” They continue, “Amazing guy, Chase; if you’re reading this, thank you!” Together, the team have crafted a sound unique to Nothing Lost and it sets them as a group who are on the top of their game.

Nothing Lost comprises of band members Josh G – drums, Ryan R – guitar/vocals and Chad K – bass/vocals. It is clear that they are all excellent musicians in their respective fields, but the magic happens when they play together.

The band are a hard-working, driven group who have performed at an SXSW showcase with Ska-Punk International and SkaxDad, played at the Decendents after party and toured through Arizona, Nevada, California, and Colorado.

Released digitally through Havoc Underground and physically on vinyl through Otitis Media Records, ‘Nothing Lost’ is available now. We recommend checking out this superb release this weekend and can not wait to hear what the band will do next!
