ONE FLEW OVER – ‘Last Man Standing’

Hailing from Ireland, duo ONE FLEW OVER have released the must-hear single ‘Last Man Standing’. This superb rock-pop release will have you reaching for the repeat button this June.

An atmospheric opening greets the listener before the band kicks in, and the emotive vocals take the reigns of the release. We adore the driving melodies that are addictive and memorable in equal measure.

Lyrically, ‘Last Man Standing’ is engaging and thought-provoking. The magnetic melodies are set to a backdrop of excellent musicianship, a broody vibe, and inviting production.

Moreover, ‘Last Man Standing’ features an intelligent arrangement that takes the listener on a journey. The instrumentation has a wonderful rise and flow that draws back and kicks in at the perfect moments. This is a single that needs to be heard this June.

The band say about the release, “‘Last Man Standing’ serves as a powerful anthem of tenacity, encapsulating the spirit of overcoming obstacles and emerging victorious against all odds. It’s a testament to enduring through life’s trials and triumphs, ultimately standing tall amidst the challenges.”

Band

ONE FLEW OVER are comprised of band members Irene Ní Chuinn and Martin Quinn. They are clearly excellent musicians in their respective fields, but magic happens when they come together.

Team

‘Last Man Standing’ was produced by Martin Quinn (Ham Sandwich, The Academic, Una Healy, Aine Cahill, Hail the Ghost) and recorded and mixed at JAM Studios, Kells, Co. Meath, Ireland.

Together, the team has done an excellent job creating an exciting and engaging release, and we are confident that it will stand the test of time.

We are thrilled to have heard ‘Last Man Standing’ and can not wait to hear what ONE FLEW OVER will do next. They are an exciting band destined for big things in 2024.
