Animal Souls – ‘The Kids’

Hailing from Canada, Animal Souls have released the must-hear single, ‘The Kids’. It is an alternative rock release you do not want to miss this Winter.

A punchy and vibrant opening greets the listener. We adore the driving full band that draws the audience in and holds our attention effortlessly. In addition, the dynamic riffs fill the sonic spectrum with vibrant colour, creating a rich audio tapestry.

Moreover, the vocal performances are fuelled by charisma and passion. The lyrics are engaging and relatable, while the energetic production creates a single that will have you reaching for the repeat button.

Also, the excellent musicianship drives the single along, while the intelligent arrangement takes the listener on a thrilling journey. ‘The Kids’ is a single that stands apart from the crowd!

Musician Michael Fisher heads Animal Soul. He says about the release, “I’m not really sure what I was trying to say in ‘The Kids’. I wrote the song 35 years ago so the original meaning has faded somewhat. I think it evokes a sense of innocence that children begin life’s journey with.”

Fisher continues, “Over time, we, the townfolk, learn to fear and mistrust, but THE KIDS aren’t scared. They don’t run. They recognize the good in people, even scary-looking strangers.”

Band

Animal Souls is comprised of band members AVA WOLSYNUK (vocals), PRESTON SAWYER (electric guitar), JOHN FULTZ (organ & mellotron), DAN CRIPPS (drums) and MICHAEL FISHER (bass & acoustic guitar). They are excellent musicians in their respective fields, but magic happens when they play together.

In addition, ‘The Kids’ has been superbly produced by Michael Fisher, engineered by Pete Cordalis, and mastered by Greg Mindorf. Together, the team made a single that will stand the test of time.
