Ryan Nealon – ‘Mistakes’
One of our favourite artists is back! Ryan Nealon is releasing his superb single ‘Mistakes’ today, 26th June 2020. It is an indie-pop song that stays with the listener long after the music has ended.
A gorgeous piano opens the release. Nealon’s soulful vocals soon join it. He has a rich tone and control over his voice that is compelling. The vocals instantly elevate the piece and take control of its direction. A kick drum enters, and it feels like the heartbeat of the song, keeping stoic and rhythmic time. We adore the layered staggering of the instrumentation; it keeps the single feeling fresh and exciting. The chorus is filled with addictive melodies; the layered instrumentation pulls in and out taking the single on unexpected twists and turns.

As an unsigned artist, Nealon has over 500,000 streams and over 10,000 followers on social media. He has booked countless successful shows at renowned venues all across the United States such as Rockwood Music Hall in New York City and The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. In addition, Nealon has also collaborated with several artists of notoriety such as Alisan Porter, Brooke Simpson, and India Carney from NBC’s ‘The Voice’, Noah Barlass and Matt Bloyd from “The Four,” and has sung background vocals for artists such as Matoma.
