Zaritza says about the release, “It’s a dark and gloomy tune that is all about feeling hurt and learning to rise above it. “I wrote in Russian” my native language, which allowed me to feel and express myself even more deeply.”

She continues, “For many years, I fought against anxiety and doubt – often feeling that I was not good enough. I began to feel like I was chasing and fighting against the shadows inside of me. Writing this song was very healing, especially when everything came out in my native tongue. It’s vital we continue to raise awareness and acceptance of mental health issues.”
