That Hidden Promise – ‘You Can Have the World’
That Hidden Promise (aka Wayne Lee) is a superb artist whose latest single ‘You Can Have the World’, is released today, 14th August 2020.
An enticing electric guitar opens the release before a full band sound kicks in. We adore the instrumental melody that first greets the listener; it is attention-grabbing and adds texture to the piece.
That Hidden Promise’s vocals are filled with character and charm. Lyrically, ‘You Can Have the World’ is compelling and resonates with its audience. We adore the high hats which are mixed to one side of the sonic spectrum and create another layer of texture to the piece. In addition, there are many layers of instrumentation to the single, and they all have their own space in the mix.

That Hidden Promise says about the release, “The concept behind the single, is of someone looking into a city and world riven by division, chaos and revolution, whilst seeing the potential to rise through sacrifice and failure and up against a system all too quick to take the credit.”
‘You Can Have the World’ is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album, ‘Who Knows Now?’. Due to drop on 18th September, it is a date we’ll be putting in our diary!
Hailing from Blackpool and currently residing in Somerset, That Hidden Promise is a brilliant artist who is making exciting and innovative music. He is certainly not your typical singer-songwriter, and That Hidden Promise says that this is the reason he makes music under this name.
