Thy Veils – ‘Influx’

Hailing from Romania, Thy Veils have released the excellent single ‘Influx’. It is a synth-pop release you need to hear this Autumn of 2022.

An atmospheric opening greets the listener. Then, as the beat drops, the scene is set for the charismatic vocals to enter and demand the listener’s attention. We adore the intriguing lyrics that are thought-provoking and stay with the audience long after the music has ended.

In addition, the melodies are unpredictable and keep the listener on their toes. ‘Influx’ has been intelligently composed and arranged to have an ever-evolving sound that keeps the piece moving forward.

Moreover, we love the exciting production that adds extra layers of depth to the piece. The punchy, warm vibe allows each of the layered instrumentation to shine bright.

Comments

Founding Thy Veils member Daniel Dorobanțu says about the release, “‘Influx’ is about us all because it’s about our collective consciousness – what we all feel, desire, experience, dream, remember and envision.”

Forthcoming Album

We are so excited to see that ‘Influx’ is taken from a forthcoming album entitled ‘Next Forever’. After hearing this spellbinding single, we can not wait for the full album to drop. Make sure you follow the band’s socials to be the first to hear about new music news!

1995

Previously, Thy Veils began as a studio project in 1995 and has evolved into the fantastic ensemble that we hear today. The band has produced seven studio albums, four live recordings, and numerous singles. We can not wait to check out Thy Veils’ back catalogue too. They are a prolific band who are continuously pushing forward.

So make sure you add ‘Influx’ to your new music playlist this week. Thy Veils are a group that needs to be heard to be fully appreciated!
