TRONIKAA – ‘Inner Hyperspace’
Hailing from France, TRONIKAA has released the stunning avant-garde album ‘Inner Hyperspace’. It is a wonderful release that will have you reaching for the repeat button this July.
‘First Steps’ opens the release and sets the atmospheric scene for what will come. As ‘Bounds’ kicks in, the excellent musicianship shines through. We adore the engaging melodies and stunning performances.
In addition, ‘Zebra 3’ is a standout track with a funky bass, textured instrumentation, and an intelligent arrangement.
Moreover, ‘Droid Jam 22’ is one of my favourite tracks on the release. The instrumentation effortlessly captures the listener’s attention and takes the audience on a journey. Also, ‘1983’ is a punchy song with driving beats and addictive melodies.
The production of ‘Inner Hyperspace’ is warm and inviting, elevating the stunning performances. One thing is for sure, ‘Inner Hyperspace’ is an album that you do not want to miss.
Influences
TRONIKAA cites his influences as coming from artists such as Herbie Hancock and Pink Floyd and cyber Sci-Fi culture in cinéma, too. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Inner Hyperspace’, but make no mistake, TRONIKAA is making music all of his own.
Album
‘Inner Hyperspace’ is the reason we know the full album release will never die. Each of the tracks works well on their own but ultimately come together to form a much bigger body of work.
‘Inner Hyperspace’ benefits from being listened to in one sitting, so take 35 minutes out of your day, turn the lights down, and turn the volume up.
Solo Release
Interestingly, TRONIKAA has worked as a musician in France for the past 20 years and ‘Inner Hyperspace’ is his first solo release. We very much hope more solo releases are planned for the future, and we can not wait to hear what will come next!
