Tryingtogetby – ‘Curse of a Tongue’
Hailing from Chicago, Tryingtogetby has released the debut full-length album, ‘Curse of a Tongue’. It is an alternative-rock release that you need to hear this Summer.
‘Homeward Bound’ opens the release to a bright and punchy beginning that draws the audience in and has us hooked from the get-go. We adore the relatable lyrics that are filled with energy and heart.
‘Few Facts’ is a powerful song that features textured instrumentation and memorable melodies that stay with the listener long after the music has ended. In addition, ‘Too Much’ is a stand-out song with vibrant, charismatic vocal performances and a dynamic vibe.
‘Earth’ takes the album in a fresh direction, keeping the listener on their toes, not knowing where they will go next. Finally, ‘Just Be’ closes the release and will have you reaching for the repeat button.

Tyler Miller is the brainchild of Tryingtogetby. He is a gifted and talented musician whose playing, writing and recording abilities are clear on this release. He has been joined by Stephen Pastor – Drums and Steve Merkel – Bass on selected tracks on the release.

In addition, Tryingtogetby is set to go out on tour this coming November, and he will be joined by Anton Filyayev – organ, Houston Herman – Bass, and Andy Milne – drums. Check the website for dates!
