Under Neptune – ‘Chapter One’
Canadian-based artist Under Neptune has released the stunning EP ‘Chapter One’. It is a six-track release that will have you reaching for the repeat button this Winter.
‘Are You Still with Me’ opens the release, and as the impacting guitar riff rings out, the audience is instantly drawn in. We adore the charismatic vocals that take the reins of the song, and the stoic backing instrumentation provides a solid foundation for the melodies to shine.
In addition, ‘You Are Not Alone’ is a stand-out song. Complete with relatable lyrics, memorable melodies and warm production, it is a track that needs to be heard.
Moreover, ‘Throw All Away’ is a hard-hitting song with a punchy vibe, big guitars and a catchy chorus. Finally, ‘Unbreakable’ closes the release, and it will leave you wanting more!
Influences
Under Neptune cites his influences as coming from bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Nirvana and Foo Fighters. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Chapter One’, but make no mistake, Under Neptune is making music all of his own.
