VALVO – ‘Lost Futures’
Berlin-based artist VALVO has released the must-hear album ‘Lost Futures’. It is a dream pop release that stands apart from the crowd this July.
‘She Was The Gold Rush’ opens the release with inviting synths that set the scene as to what is to come. As the full band enters, there is an addictive texture in the instrumentation that pulls the listener in.
In addition, ‘Tainted Memory’ is a standout track, complete with magnetic melodies, and stunning performances, it is a song that stays with the listener long after the music has ended.
Moreover, the title track, ‘Lost Futures’, is hauntingly beautiful with an ever-evolving arrangement and intelligent composition. Finally, ‘Stop Running’ closes the release and leaves an indelible, lasting impression upon the listener.

VALVO says about the release, “The album is an exploration of nostalgia. It follows a protagonist as they are haunted by the ‘what ifs’ in their life, preventing them from moving on.”
He continues, “Each song of the album represents a different step in the protagonist’s journey, from being affected by an event that led them to be in distress to reaching the realization they have to accept their past in order to process their future.”
