Alan Jacob – ‘Snow Globe’

Hailing from Warrington, musician Alan Jacob has released his stunning single ‘Snow Globe’. It is a release which we thoroughly recommend checking out this January 2021.

Swirling synths opens the release before the beat drops and an acoustic guitar enters too. Alan Jacob’s soulful vocals masterfully guide the single along. We adore the unpredictable chordal progressions which keep the piece feeling fresh.

The backing vocals add further layers of colour to the piece too, and a harmonious balance has been achieved. We also enjoyed the chorus, which is catchy and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. Lyrically, ‘Snow Globe’ is deeply relatable, which is a big part of Jacob’s charm.

Alan Jacob says about the release, “‘Snow Globe’ is a chilled out Christmas song that describes my journey looking for real love in a social media and appearance-obsessed world.”

He continues, “You might think you have found the person of your dreams because of the perfect persona they display, but when the snow has cleared sometimes the globe is empty. The hope is always that you will find something special under the snow… real love.”

A multi-instrumentalist and stunning composer, Alan Jacob is set to make waves this 2021. We hear more releases are in the pipeline, and we are sure that this year will be a significant year for this rising star.

So keep that festive spirit alive for a little bit longer and add ‘Snow Globe’ to your playlist this weekend. We are so excited to have discovered Jacob’s music and very much look forward to hearing what he will do next.

Until then, ‘Snow Globe’ is available to stream from the link below. Enjoy!
