Alice Pisano – ‘Crush’
Hailing from London, musician Alice Pisano has released the excellent single ‘Crush’ in January 2021. It is a stunning release from a formidable artist.
Pisano’s soulful voice opens the single. A staccato guitar accompanies her, and together, they draw the listener in. We adore the addictive melodies which are evident from the get-go; they fill the piece with colour and make for an enthralling listen.
As the chorus drops, ‘Crush’ is in full flow. The beat is intoxicating and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. ‘Crush’ sets Pisano as an artist to watch this 2021.
In addition, ‘Crush’ has been superbly produced by John Foyle (Maisie Peters, Years & Years). The team have created a single that stands out from the crowd and is destined to win Pisano an army of new fans.
Pisano says about the release, “It’s about having one of those strong crushes on someone that knocks you off your feet, but in an unhealthy way.”
She continues, “You’re both in so deep that you live with the fear that the other person’s feelings might not be as strong as yours. You start overthinking, becoming jealous and possessive… It almost becomes like a battle.”

Alice Pisano burst onto the music scene in 2018 with her debut EP ‘Celebrate Life’. It gained editorial support from Spotify and amassed over 3.5 million streams. After hearing ‘Crush’, we can not wait to check out Pisano’s back catalogue too!
