All The Hats – ‘Too Many Leaders’
New York-based artist All The Hats has released the magnificent single ‘Too Many Leaders’, in January 2021. It is a superb indie-rock release which firmly sets All The Hats as an artist to watch this year.
An enticing beat opens the release. We adore the laid back vibe and melodic tones which paves the way for All The Hats’ enticing vocals to enter.
The layered instrumentation builds as the single progresses and creates a textured song. In addition, lyrically, ‘Too Many Leaders’ is relatable and connects to the audience with charm and grace.

All The Hats says about the release, “I am a one-man-band due to Covid-19, not by choice, which is why I decided to keep the name Too Many Leaders for my debut release.”
He continues, “This project is my attempt at sprinkling some of the early 2000’s indie-rock nostalgia I feel on to my smoother lyrical ballad of young emotional vomit coming from a romantic idealist. To me, rigid simple instrumentation along with dramatic lyrics is me taking the best parts from indie-rock but putting it with smooth calm vocals.”
