Ben Kidson – ‘Heaven’
Synth-Pop artist Ben Kidson has released his superb latest single, ‘Heaven’. It is his fourth release and his first love song; we are sure it will win him an army of new fans.
Firstly, a big opening greets the listener. It paves the way for Kidson’s unmistakable vocals to breakthrough. They instantly grab the listener’s attention and subsequently, are thoroughly compelling. In addition, we love the verse melody, which is memorable and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button.
The chorus is driving and catchy too. Samples are underpinning the latter chorus, which adds an unexpected colour to the piece. It is a stunning composition. Above all, we absolutely love the mix, master and production of the single. Each part of the complex instrumentation has its own space in the mix. The overall sound is fresh and innovating.

Kidson Comments
Kidson says about the single, “‘Heaven’, is a raw, honest track. A pop song in its simplest form, it’s coated with de-tuned, grungey guitars, 808 bass, and distorted vocal effects, and builds to a ground-shaking, epic chorus.”
Moreover, since the self-release of his first single, Kidson has racked up over 200,000 streams on Spotify alone. He has had his music played on BBC’s ‘Killing Eve’, and ITV’s ‘Sticks & Stones’. In addition, Kidson has had his song ‘Money’ used as the soundtrack to skincare brand The INKEY List’s ‘Knowledge is Your Power’ campaign.
Hailing from London, Kidson is an exciting talent who is making waves in 2020. ‘Heaven’ is officially released today, 19th June 2020 and is available to stream now. So, make sure you add ‘Heaven’ to your weekend playlist. In short, we very much look forward to hearing what he will do next!
